Brave a ‘Night at the Museum’ in Rugby

Come along to Rugby Art Gallery and Museum on Friday evening 18 May 2012 when you can put your bravery to the test. Meet our Egyptian friends and foes and learn about ancient times but watch out for wandering mummies in our Egyptian area. You may also get to see and touch the live reptiles and creepy crawlies that are visiting the Museum that night.

Rugby prepares for Jubilee celebrations


Rugby Borough CouncilRugby is to play host to the biggest Diamond Jubilee celebrations in all of Coventry and Warwickshire, organisers believe, and preparations are well underway. The main events in the town will take place on Saturday 2 June, but activities will continue across the extended Bank Holiday weekend, with events planned for each day in Caldecott Park.

Volunteers recognised by Community Safety Partnership


Rugby Borouch CouncilThe Rugby Community Safety Partnership has two awards for individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to community safety in Rugby.

Cecilia (Cec) Whittlesea, an outreach worker with CSWP Connexions, and Bob Reeve, on behalf of the Ascension Trust and the Rugby Street Pastors, are the latest recipients of the Be Safe Feel Safe community awards.
